- Could someone give me a good recommendation which ID's to choose?
-
- Config: DS3100, Ultrix 4.2 (soon 4.3)
-
- I will plug in a sixth device, a hard disk, and have only ID 7 unused.
- I have read in an older article that ID 7 was reserved for a real time
- cpu because it has the highest interrupt. But actually there is none,
- so I could use it.
-
- The devices are for now:
-
- ID 0 - RZ24 root and swap
- ID 1 - RZ56 data
- ID 2 - Fuji M2266S data
- ID 3 - DAT HP35480A
- ID 4 - RRD42
- ID 5 - TZ30
-
- Shall I change the slowest device to ID 7 (TZ30) or just put the new disk
- to ID 7?
-
- Any hints are appreciated.
- Thank you very much.
