- I have a similar inquiry, except that I am trying to use a DECserver 700
- to handle the modem and serial port interfaces. I don't know how the
- connection between the DEC5000 and the DECserver is made for incoming
- SLIP sessions on the DECserver, but I can only assume that raw IP is
- used and the SLIP protcol stops at the DECserver. My question is what
- do I have to configure on the DEC5000 for this to work? Does it really
- have anything to do with SLIP, since the DECserver is handling all of
- that stuff?
-
- Thanks,
