  27. Amidst the gushing there are those of who still must ask why DEC is so
  28. braindead about their SCSI. Strictly from a user's point of view, I don't
  29. see any difference between having to edit the very cryptic /sys/data/cam_data.c
  30. to define a new disk or tape device vs. editing /sys/data/scsi_data.c file.
  31. And to top it off, as for "plug-and-play", what's the logic behind having
  32. the predefined Exabyte Exb-8500 entry in cam_data.c key on the drive
  33. identifying itself as a "DEC TKZ09" instead of "EXABYTE EXB-8500"? SCSI CAM
  34. really did nothing to facilitate plug-and-play SCSI on Ultrix.
