- I have a strange problem. I have a 5000/240, 96M ram, 2 Seagate 1.2G
- drives, ascii console. The problem is that even though it is configured
- for 96M of swap space (and pstat -s does report 98000k configured), it
- seems to use only about 280k of if. Programs requesting more memory
- (than what is left in RAM) get basically an out of memory error (varies
- from program to program), not an out of swap error. Pstat for some
- reason also reports no shared memory usage when there should be.
- I recently (this week) upgraded to Ultrix 4.3, although I beleive
- I had the same problem under 4.2a. The config file is similar to other
- ones we run with no problem. The only other difference is SCSI CAM
- installed.
- Any suggestions?
