- Hi netters:
- I have an URGENT PROBLEM on Ultrix O/S. I want to know if there is any
- way , a PARENT process which receives a signal from one of its
- child processes , find out the PROCESS ID (pid) of that child
- when/after the signal is received.
-
-
- I searched the man pages and some other UNIX versions
- but could not find any utility. Atleast, the signal() ,
- sigvec() calls do not give info as regards the pid of the
- interrupting process.
-
- I WILL BE THANKFUL IF YOU CAN SEND YOUR REPLIES TO MY
- e-mail address since I am not a regular subscriber to this
- newsgroup.
