- Our department is looking for other suggestions for a multiport board to
- be used with the following system.
-
- Hardware: Bull DPX-2 150 (intel 486 system)
- OP Sys : SCO Unix, Version 3.3.2
-
- Currently being used is the DigiBoard which provides 16 serial ports.
- Primary terminal is the HP700/44 Terminal.
-
- Out of 100 systems, we have experienced port failures on 20% of the
- systems over a 4 month period. (Problems with 1 or more ports on 20 of
- the Digiboards/Systems).
-
- Any one else having these difficulties? Suggestions? What product(s) have
- you found to be reliable?
-
- The current issue of SCO Magizine has a review of 11 Multiport Boards.
- Which of these would you reccommend?
-
- Thanks
-
- Please send any responces to jsummers@sire.ces.ncsu.edu
