  13. Using the following Hardware:

  15. -BusTek BT742 SCSI Controller
  16. -Tandberg Data Mod. 3800 Tapestreamer (525MB)
  17.  or Tandberg Data Mod. 4100 Tapestreamer
  18.  
  19. I encounter the following problems with ISC 3.0(1):

  21. Writing (and reading) 1GB or 525 MB Tapes everything works fine,
  22. but when we use older  150MB Tapes we are unable to write
  23. with cpio or tar to them. We get the error:

  25. "write error, error 5" 
  26.  
  27. What is wrong with the configuration or are additional
  28. command options necessary to write with tar or cpio.
  29. (Must I Switch to 18 sector tapes ??)
