- Using the following Hardware:
-
- -BusTek BT742 SCSI Controller
- -Tandberg Data Mod. 3800 Tapestreamer (525MB)
- or Tandberg Data Mod. 4100 Tapestreamer
-
- I encounter the following problems with ISC 3.0(1):
-
- Writing (and reading) 1GB or 525 MB Tapes everything works fine,
- but when we use older 150MB Tapes we are unable to write
- with cpio or tar to them. We get the error:
-
- "write error, error 5"
-
- What is wrong with the configuration or are additional
- command options necessary to write with tar or cpio.
- (Must I Switch to 18 sector tapes ??)
-
- Can anybody help ?
