- Have a look at the manpages for both 'evgainit' and 'evgaquery'.

- The 'evgainit' manpage clearly states that you _must_ run 'evgainit'
- with the appopriate option for your video board in order to use
- resolutions above 640x480.
- This should also be in the Release Notes.

- in the kernel so it is able to restore them when switching back from
