  27. ditty is setup to enable cts/rts flow control on the ports (actually, that's
  28. the default for the modem-style ports anyway).  I'm confident that the modems
  29. aren't using CTS/RTS flow simply because they don't need to.

  33. I did receive MAIL on this, and some folks said that they see this behavior as
  34. well.  The consensus seems to be that the Telebit Worldblazer won't use CTS/RTS
  35. for flow control, but will instead limit the acknoledgement UUCP messages to
  36. keep the host from transmitting too much data to the modem (if the modem doesn't
  37. send the ACK, then the host won't transmit another UUCP-g packet).

  39. My throughput when talking to another WB seems to be about 1850cps or so.  Is
  40. this typical for other UUCP-g sites talking WB to WB?
