- I have a Trident 8900C driving a ViewSonic 7 in 1024x768 256 color
- mode, non-interlaced. I have absolutely no problems switching between
- the X vt and the console vt (Alt-SysReq P). I didn't respond to the
- original since I didn't see aspecific reference to ET4000 in the Esix
- manual pages... Also, I only loaded the base Motif X (just the server
- and development package -- none of that other Motif cruft.) Did you
- choose to install the 256 color server? Or just the 16 color server?
- Check your installation (use sysadm or look for X.256 in /usr/bin/X11)
- and re-install the 256 color server to make sure.
-
- Also, have you received the updated X GUI tape? If not, contact your
- supplier for the latest release.
