- I am afraid I cannot help, but I can report that the problem exists with my
- Trident 8900C as well. I can use X and Motif as higher resolutions than
- standard VGA, but like you, when I exit X I need to reboot to use the console
- again. This happened with just vanilla X and twm under 4.0.3 and I still have
- the problem with 4.0.4.
