  25. I'm running two V.32 modems on an AST 4-port that uses 16450's and I
  26. don't lose any characters (running stock 3.2.2 drivers).  I know of
  27. people that did have problems and installed 16550's and it helped.

  29. You could also try using FAS under 3.2.4 which would improve performance
  30. even more, and give you full-duplex RTS/CTS flow control.
