  21. Running under vpix is even better?  Ugh!  I don't think so.

  23. I've had an Everex 24/96E external modem coupled with Trufax software
  24. working with ISC 2.0.2 for a couple years now.  But I think the gnu
  25. netfax package is supposed to work with a different version of that
  26. modem, and it's free.

  28. I paid ~$300 for the modem, it's probably less now.  Seems to work
  29. well with any serial port.
