- We had a copy of Destiny to do beta-testing a few months ago and here is
- a short list of the features/differences I can remember:

- - better installation (only a few questions)
- - graphical desktop (Motiv/OpenLook)
- - Veritas filesystem (faster than ufs - really; they claim you can power off
- your computer after leaving the editor without loosing
- data - I have tried it, it's true)
- - loadable drivers (this will effect writing device drivers)
- - graphical debugger (nice thing)
- - many fixes (yes they have found nearly all bugs we have searched for)

- ... but if you look at the kernel source you will see many SVR4.0 parts -
- no microkernel.
