  29.    sequence of control codes is much better than the looking for an
  30.    usual sequence of printable letters.

  32. If a non-header line begins with "From " then the mailer prepends a
  33. ">" onto it.  All mail handlers I know do it this way and can handle
  34. it on the reading end with no problem.  If in doubt, send yourself a
  35. message with a line that begins with "From " and then cat (or more (or
  36. less)) your mail spool.
