  12. I am having a problem with the 'tar' command.  We archived some
  13. directories,  tar cvf /dev/rst0 dir1 dir2.  But now that we are
  14. trying to read it back,  tar xvf /dev/rst0, we got the following
  15. error message:

  17. tar: read error: I/O error
  18. st0:   Error for command 'read', Error Level: 'Fatal'
  19.        Block: 33620      File Number: 0
  20.        Sense key:  Media Error
  21.  
  22. Is there a way to skip over this error and continuing on reading?
