- I got an interesting question on memory management and hope this is
- right group to ask for help.
- In a swapping system with variable partitions, the segments have
- the probability distribution of 0.1*exp(-0.1s), where s is the
- segment size in kilobytes. The holes have the probability
- distribution of 0.2*exp(-0.3h), where h is the hole size in
- kilobytes, then what is the average fraction of wasted memory.
