- pack; also see unpack, pcat, and man.
-
- | Somehow the man pages for enscript and transcript were removed from
- | our system some time ago. I managed to locate enscript on the net,
-
- I hope you located some clone. enscript is part of the Transcript
- package *sold* by Adobe (or sold through their licensees), and they
- wouldn't be happy to hear about people giving copies away.
-
- | but the man page was in nroff/troff format, which we don't have. Is
- | this the correct format for SGI man pages? If it is, I assume the
- | man command takes care of translating the formatting since nroff and
- | troff aren't installed on our system.
-
- If you want nroff/troff, etc., you need to buy the DWB package,
- because AT&T (now USL) in their infinite wisdom decided that
- it shouldn't be part of the main source license.
-
- Similarly, they decided that man pages are source, so the .z
- files you are see are nroff'ed, tbl'ed, eqn'ed, or whatever,
- and then pack'ed.
