- I would like to write a daemon, one of its functions being
- to broadcast a message to all the other like daemon running
- on my little net of Unix machines (a mix of SunOS, Ultrix,
- and ISC). I have the Stevens Network Programming Book, but if
- my answer is in there, I can't seem to find it.
-
- I guess what I want is the equivalent of the Ethernet broadcast
- functions from the (TCP or UDP)/IP level. If it's a lengthy
- explanation, maybe you could just point me toward the right book
- or doc.
