  11. I would like to write a daemon, one of its functions being
  12. to broadcast a message to all the other like daemon running
  13. on my little net of Unix machines (a mix of SunOS, Ultrix,
  14. and ISC). I have the Stevens Network Programming Book, but if
  15. my answer is in there, I can't seem to find it.

  17. I guess what I want is the equivalent of the Ethernet broadcast
  18. functions from the (TCP or UDP)/IP level. If it's a lengthy
  19. explanation, maybe you could just point me toward the right book
  20. or doc.
