  12. My sincerest apologies for posting out of unmittigated ignorance, but I'm in
  13. a time crunch and need some advice! Is there an application that will run
  14. a DOS application under HP-UX 8.0 (on 9000/700 machine). The application is
  15. one that uses a modem and deals with the creation of PCX files. To be 
  16. precise, it is AccuWeather's application for accessing the weather, which
  17. consists of both ASCII text and PCX format maps. The interface is very
  18. unsophisticated and I am finding DOS to be a *pain* to deal with to manipulate
  19. the files we recieve, and also it's difficult to automate the dialing. 
  20. I only have information that SoftPc is a "dog", and am wanting to avoid
  21. something that is messy, kludgey, and invasive on our nice (working) system.
