- Hi !
- I compiled Julian's SCSI-Driver into my kernel, but it seems that there's
- no swap space anymore. On startup I get the message "warning: no swap space
- yet" and later "/dev/as0b: Device not configured". I tried to alter /etc/fstab
- but it doesn't change anything. What can I do ?
-
- The second thing is: I have a TANDBERG TDC 3800 SCSI tape device with variable
- blocklength and on startup it will be recognized, but when I want to use it I
- get many errors (long block) although I can read all files from tape correctly.
- But thoses messages on the screen slows down the tape extremely, so I wanna
- know what I can do to change it. Any hints ?
-
- I just have one SCSI disk (root on sd0 swap on sd0) but two controllers
- (one SCSI, one IDE) and two floppies (on IDE). I have 8 MB on board and had
- problems before (system hangs up on high load) where I hope to get help.
- Can anyone help me ?
- Thanx in advance,
- Udo
