  12. a number of config files with the same results. The procedure that I'm using is as 
  13. follows:

  15.     o config GENERICISA
  16.     o cd ../../compile/GENERICISA
  17.     o make depend
  18.     o make
  19.  
  20. There are no errors and a kernel is linked. I copy the kernel to / and I do
  21. a shutdown. When I reboot I get the following message:

  23.     0 eip = fe009aa5 cs = 8 eflags = 1086 cr2 a cpl ffffffff
  24.     panic: trap
  25.     hit reset please

  28. Has anyone seen this problem? Does anyone have a work around or solution?
  29. Any help is greatly appreciated. Please respond on the net.
