- Hello,
-
- I've been running XFree86 on 386BSD with a 33Mhz 386 and 8meg of
- memory. It runs fine, but if you start more than a couple of windows
- it will slow down almost to a halt. I tryed running XV and it really
- slowed things down. My question is how much memory is needed to run
- this beastie efficiently? I tryed running the XS(?) server, which the
- readme said was quicker, but it didn't do anything.
-
- Also, does anyone have XView available as binaries only for 386BSD?
- I would love to play with it, but only have a 100meg disk (which is currently
- 84% full). I've found gwm and have twm, but would like to try olwm.
-
- Thanks!
-
