  12.   I'm running into a strange problem with XFree86 & xdm, 
  13.  and a little time.

  15.   Every morning, I come to my machine and try to log in on the xdm
  16. login screen, but the keyboard is locked, the mouse works fine.
  17. I have to telnet/rlogin from another machine and kill the X server.  
  18. When the X server restarts, the keyboard returns.

  20.   I have discovered that if I don't log out - and leave my session
  21. there - when I return in the morning the keyboard is locked again,
  22. so pressing a key doesn't get my screen back (i.e. it's been blanked.)
  23. *But* - moving the mouse will... In fact, all the mouse stuff works
  24. fine.

  26.   My current work-around is to not log out overnight, then in the 
  27. morning, use my mouse to pull down the twm menu and exit twm.  This
  28. ends my session (logs me off) and the X server dies;  xdm starts up
  29. a new server which is fine.

  31.   Also, I've noticed some problems with the capslock key; sometimes
  32. the capslock is engaged, and I can't disengage it without restarting
  33. the server.   In this regard, none of the keyboard lights (capslock, numlock,
  34. etc...) seem to function.

  36.   Finally, did anyone ever find out where the <bell> went?
