  18. There are several lpt.c patches/replacements available.  You might
  19. start with Eric Haug's  lpt.driver.patch available on
  20. agate.berkeley.edu in pub/386BSD/386bsd-0.1/unofficial.  This includes
  21. instructions for installing the driver.  There is also an lp.c
  22. replacement which does not use interrupts and is said to be faster.
