  13.   I'm currently trying to get pcnfsd working on 386bsd.

  15.   I've played with things enough to determine that the password checking
  16.  is working and the correct authentication record is sent back.

  18.   Then, (on the PC) I get a message of the form:

  20.     ERROR: RPC Authentication error

  22.   Is this the "vouchsafe" problem with file systems exported from 386bsd?

  24.   Again, I'm pretty sure this is not the user authentication; when I
  25.  kludge up pcnfsd to return failure in that situation, I get a totally
  26.  different message at the PC end.  I _believe_ this error is occuring
  27.  at the mount RPC.
