  14. what you complain of ain't gotta problem of MTOOLS. It's the stupid
  15. fd driver. For now, it will only handle HD drives, regardless of
  16. your CMOS (except you'd disable the floppy:-(().
  17. I've dealt with it in making some floppy formatter work, and i decided
  18. to redesign the whole driver. Obviously, this would take some weeks.
  19. The goals are: a format call, automatic format detection, change line
  20. support, quite more reliable. (If you don't believe that the current
  21. driver is unreliable: try operating on two floppies at the same time.
  22. Don't do this with worthful data!)
