- I have 386BSD 0.1 bindist up and running and I installed the XFree
- binary distribution. However the X server dies after it changes to
- graphics mode, no error messages are displayed, just the lines that
- show configuration. Xterm says connection broken etc. Could it be
- that the X server cant get enough memory (4M installed on system) or
- what could be wrong ?
-
- If so how do I know if I have swap partition ? I installed the 386BSD
- on entire 100M drive using the default installation program and I am
- wondering where is the swap space. I dont find any swap partition.
- Also MS-DOS 5.0 fdisk didnt find any partitions so I was unable to
- look at the partition table. Do I have to repartition and re-install
- to configure swap partition and how if I can't find partitioning
- program from 386BSD fixit diskette ?
