- And I can't find it. Would someone please email me a pointer to it? Thanks.
-
- I would also like feedback regarding my proposed system setup. I have two
- drives, a 213 MB Western Digital as master, which will hold 386bsd, and an
- 80 MB Quantum slave which will hold DOS. I will want to boot 386bsd most of
- the time, and DOS on occasion. I had planned to make a minimal boot floppy
- for DOS, which points itself at the Quantum at the appropriate time. Is
- this the best way to go? Or should I allocate a 1-meg slice of the 386bsd
- disk for DOS, so I can boot from it?
-
- The jury still seems to be out regarding 386bsd and DOS coexisting on IDE
- drives; I've been waiting on a concensus but none seems forthcoming and
- I can wait no longer. I install this weekend, or whenever I can find
- ide_conf.exe.
