  17. I'm using a 40Mhz 386 motherboard (AMD processor)
  18.         IDE controller + Western Digital 200MB drive
  19.         ET4000 SVGA
  20.         double serial + parallel IO board
  21. all this stuff no-name made in Taiwan. The only known brand board is
  22. my SMC Elite 8003 Ethernet board.

  24. I had a 50MB DOS 5.0 partition on the disk. I booted from the floppy
  25. configured the hard disk and after 5 minutes I was installing bindist,
  26. srcdist and etcdist from my SparcStation (and jumping with joy!)
  27. Now I'm using the 0.1.40 kernel available on agate and have compiled
  28. X11R5 and OSF/Motif without problems in just about 150MB.
