- And that's 4. It happened to me only today!
- All new items created or moved to the desktop had their icons disappear,
- the original items were not lost however.
- My fix was to remove my complete personal .mac directory (after I had
- moved my wordprocessing and spreadsheet documents from the deskrtop
- folder to a safe location that is!).
- The next time I logged in everything worked fine (not the previous 5
- logins before I did this)

- Also early this morning I added a 4th harddisk to my system. Perhaps the
- A/UX finder was a little bit upset about this?
