- Me Three! My system shows similar behavior. Typically, and regardles
- of whether or not I have FMbackup installed, some of my folder's
- windows revert back to the default size/location. Also, various icons
- lose their labels.
-
- By the way, I installed A/UX according to Apple's recommendation - that
- is the MacPartition is just big enough to get the system started - I do
- all my Mac stuff out of the A/UX file system.
-
- I gained some relief from this occasional/intermittent problem by copying
- essentially all my Mac files out to another disk on the SCSI bus. I then
- rebooted into the Mac OS and used Norton Disk Doctor to fix bundle bits,
- etc. for my files. Then I deleted all my Mac stuff from the A/UX file
- system and then copied the (fixed) files back into the A/UX file system.
-
- About 4 or 5 months ago I went round and round with Apple's Telephone
- Tech Support folks on this issue. They were unable to resolve my
- system's problem.
-
- Running Mac stuff under A/UX has become more and more frustrating because
- my windows misbehave. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
-
- (By the way, the same problems occurred when I ran without non-apple
- cp and ex files.)
-
- So, anyone else seeing this problem (4 months ago the phone center
- folks told me I was the only one with this problem.).
