  25. Stuff like this would increase the complexity and size of 'tc' dramatically.

  27. Again, is it to much to ask that if it's written on a compression drive
  28. that it be read on one as well. IMHO having a compression drive and
  29. not using the compression capability is a bit insane... UNLESS, of course,
  30. you'll be slugging the tape between different tape drives and machines.

  32. If that's the case, then all machines should have had the same-type drives
  33. in the 1st place :)

  35. There's a jumper on the Archives that can enable/disable compression as
  36. well as using Mode Select (which overrides the jumper)...
