- I am sorry, but Apple DID say it would work on the VX when they published
- their mail order catalog and sent it to everyone... I quote ...
- "To run A/UX, you'll need a Macintosh SE/30, any Macintosh II, or a Macintosh
- Quadra personal computer A1300 $649
- "
-
- This is on page 32 of the Apple Catalog printed 1992 (premier edition) an sent
- to mac owners all over the world... IS THE IIvx not a macintosh II computer?
- I might add that in the same publication on pages 34-35, the specs of the
- Macintosh IIvx are given. So the VX was known at the time of publishing..
-
-
- So why publish compatiblity so that people go out and buy it only to find it
- won't install, won`t work.... ?
-
- Don`t get me wrong I am a rock solid apple advocate and I am willing to give
- them every benefit of the doubt. Nowhere have they publicized this
- incompatablity, or a new release to make AUX available to VX users.
