- Apology: I think my last question about this got lost or the mail
- server went on holiday.
-
- Has anyone gotten X11R5 to run on a resolver board? Keith Gabryelski's
- port on the 2.1 installation tape seems to work, with only a few
- weirdnesses. Such as:
- o xsetroot doesn't seem to (set the root that is)
- o xfontsel doesn't refresh correctly if the font can't be loaded on to
- the graphics board
- o fs gives the message : SO_DONTLINGER not supported, and the fs
- utilities claim they cannot find the server
- o mwm (from DMI) doesn't always render text properly in menus
- o starting X manually then sourcing my .xsession file causes the
- server to exit after the first X client (xrdb) finishes. X gives an
- error of "no screens found". If the first client continues to run,
- things work OK
-
- If anyone has any general information or specific solutions, I would
- like to hear about them.
-
- Again, sorry for the repetition.
