  11. Having serious trouble getting R5 xdm to work with AIX 3.2 on the console
  12. display running IBM's R4 server.  I haven't tried it with XStations yet,
  13. but I suspect it would work.

  15. The problem is that the X server "dies unexpectedly" several times and
  16. then xdm quits trying.

  18. Installing the BSD 4.4 netwoking patch to XConnDis.c does not solve the
  19. problem.  I suspect this patch is useful only if one is using the R5
  20. server (which we're not).
