  12.    Greetings all.  I'm very new to aix (and unix in general).  Just at
  13.    the beginning of the learning curve of aix system administration,
  14.    so to speak.  (If it matters, by background is VMS.)  I expect that
  15.    I'll find a lot of answers here as time goes by.

  17.    3 initial questions come to mind:

  19. a) Does this group have a FAQ?
  20.  
  21. b) I'd like to implement emacs on the aix system I'm using.  Any pointers
  22.    to emacs for aix?
  23.  
  24. c) Is there a periodic posting of known PD software and source locations
  25.    (ftp? server based?) where they can be had?
  26.  
  27.    If these questions have all gone by lately (say in the last 2 weeks),
  28.    please email to me.  On the other hand, if these issues are new, perhaps
  29.    posting would benefit a wider audience.  Your help is appreciated.
