- I discussed this with IBM and they said it works that way to conform
- with POSIX. They opened an APAR (1X31469) to correct the documentation.

- I asked them to consider adding an option to chown to provide a way to
- affect the symbolic link itself, but I am not sure what will happen.
- If you agree it would be a good idea, you might wish to contact them
- and say so. (My original PRM# was 2X558)
