- One quick question for the more AIX-seasoned people who
- frequent this group. First of all, is it possible to have dialup
- SLIP access to a machine running AIX like the dialslip package
- provides on Suns, ie, dial up, connect to the modem, so far like
- a normal dialup and getting a terminal response, login as a
- special user, then the line discipline changes to SLIP, then when
- you hangup, the line discipline changes back. Second, is it
- possible to have PPP connections (again, hopefully dialup-type)
- with an AIX system. By AIX I mean RS/6000 AIX 3.2.3 or so, and
- if there's any difference, 3.1.5.
-
- Thanks for any help.
