  13.     One quick question for the more AIX-seasoned people who
  14. frequent this group. First of all, is it possible to have dialup
  15. SLIP access to a machine running AIX like the dialslip package
  16. provides on Suns, ie, dial up, connect to the modem, so far like
  17. a normal dialup and getting a terminal response, login as a 
  18. special user, then the line discipline changes to SLIP, then when
  19. you hangup, the line discipline changes back. Second, is it 
  20. possible to have PPP connections (again, hopefully dialup-type)
  21. with an AIX system. By AIX I mean RS/6000 AIX 3.2.3 or so, and
  22. if there's any difference, 3.1.5.
