- We've experienced a very strange "bug" in the ls command: We have
- a directory that is shared by N users (N >= 200), and happened
- to perform 'ls -l' in the directory. It goes for a while, then
- Seg fault(coredump)! We think we've tracked it down: it only
- occurs when the usernames are displayed (most every file is owned
- by a different person). The -g and -n options work like a champ;
- only -l and -o (which shows owner and not group) cause it.
- Anyone else see this happen, and if so, HELP!!!!!
