- The only time I have seen this is when there was some device (other than
- an ASCII head) attached to the S1 serial port. In my case it was a modemr.
- When the machine was configuring, it tried to talk to the modem and the
- modem tried to talk back. This confused the machine and made it seem that
- the modem was the primary console. Disconect any devices on S1 and try again.
