- When I do a netstat on my system, I am getting te following entries:
-
- Active Internet connections
- Proto Rec-Q Snd-Q Local Address Foreign Address (state)
- tcp 0 0 astro.ocis.templ.4557 wf03.cis.temple..smtp FIN_WAIT_2
- tcp 0 0 astro.ocis.templ.4313 wf03.cis.temple..smtp FIN_WAIT_2
- tcp 0 0 astro.ocis.templ.4186 wf03.cis.temple..smtp FIN_WAIT_2
- tcp 0 0 astro.ocis.templ.4098 wf03.cis.temple..smtp FIN_WAIT_2
- tcp 0 0 astro.ocis.templ.3723 wf03.cis.temple..smtp FIN_WAIT_2
- tcp 0 0 astro.ocis.templ.3574 wf03.cis.temple..smtp FIN_WAIT_2

- Is there a way I can force them closed and remove them from the
- netstat display? What about some of the others that have a state of
- CLOSED but still show up?
-
- Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.
