- I distributed another version of the time expenditure survey at LISA VI
- this year. I'm posting it here so that people who didn't attend can
- contribute their data if they wish. I currently have about 200 completed
- surveys and wish I had about 500.
-
- The survey takes half an hour (or so) to complete (lots of stuff here).
- Any data would be appreciated. Use your favorite text editor to change
- the ____'s to the numbers required. Please use hours & tenths.
-
- I'll post the results (my interpretations) and the raw data, once I get
- everything typed in and correlated.
-
- Thank you!

- 1992 System Administration Time Expenditure Survey
- Please return to Rob Kolstad (kolstad@bsdi.com)
-
- Please estimate the average number of hours per week that you spend on the
- tasks below (please record hours or hours and tenths). Be sure to add (at
- the end) items on which you spend time but that this survey overlooks.
-
- Note that if you spend 1 week per year at conferences, that's just under 1
- hour per week, on average.
