- I just finished moving a company over to a Data General
- Aviion 5225, and am having more than a little trouble in
- getting the dial out modems to drop the line properly.
-
- The system is running DGUX 5.4.2, and the dial out modems
- are both Hayes 9600 Optimas. I have them set to monitor
- DTR and perform a reset (&D3), but when I call out and then
- try to drop the line with a "~." the modem doesn't hang up...
-
- I am using 8 conductor flatwire, and have confirmed that the
- DB25's on the host and modem are properly wired using a tone
- generator. (Confirmed twice!)
-
- Anybody have any ideas??
