-
- recent popularizations on the subject of complexity, a-life, ca's.
-
- "Complexity" by Roger Lewin
-
- "Complexity" by Waldrop
-
- "Artifical Life" by Levy.
-
- i hope the guys at Santa Fe must keep their machines running while they
- give out all these interviews. well, i guess it pays to advertise.
-
- btw - levy's book is okay, waldrop's book is absolutely awful and lewin's
- book has pictures of the guys, discusssions of who did what first, and
- 60's style pseudo-scientific/philosophical babble.
- basically, they all just discuss the people and not the subject (which
- is probably too 'complex' for them to understand).
-
- suggestion: you might get levy's book for christmas but skip waldrop and
- lewin. save your money for some better 'technical' books on the subject .
