- You can use the normal UNIX-Distribution for TeX and MF
- (src-5.851) --- TeX 3.141 + MF 2.71 = 5.851
-
- I have installed a mixed Version for SUN/OS 4.1.x and AIX 3.2.x
- only the binaries (and the format-, bases-files --- ??) are different
- all other is the same and mounted via NFS. In the near future I will add
- the binaries for ApolloDomain (OS 10.3, 10.4) in our mixed network.
-
- If you compile with IBM xlc 1.2.0.0 it is important to compile
- *WITHOUT* optimization. I did so, and all is working.
-
- In some programs in "texware" --- pltotf.web, tftopl.web for example ---
- is defined "class", but its predefined by xlc 1.2.0.0, so you have to define
- @d class==newclass
- and all will work.
