  21. There was an article in a very early TUGboat
  22. describing a port of TeX (of that time) to a pdp-11.
  23. As I recall, they had to split the program
  24. into 2 processes.

  26. But can you break the 64k limit on arrays on a pdp-11?
  27. Your TeX would have to be quite small,
  28. with mem_max \le 16k, otherwise.
