  28. The `TeX fonts' are all available in fully hinted ATM compatible Adobe Type
  29. 1 format from Y&Y.  This includes the Blue Sky Research set of 75 Computer
  30. Modern fonts, the AMS font set in Type 1 format, as well as the `extra'
  31. LaTeX and SliTeX fonts.  There is also an alternative to Computer Modern
  32. - complete with math fonts - called LucidaBright + LucidaNewMath.

  34. Since the PC version of the BSR CM font set - as well as the LucidaBright +
  35. LucidaNewMath font set - includes Adobe Type Manager (ATM), and since ATM is
  36. for free on the Mac, there is no real incentive to make TrueType versions
  37. (while there are many disadvantages to using TrueType).

  39. There is very little TeX support for TrueType at the moment. At the moment,
  40. only DVIWindo (MS Windows) and TeXtures (Mac) support TrueType fonts.
