  13. I am using AMS-LaTeX and have been searching for a macro which carries out
  14. the same function as \bar{} but puts the bar underneath the character
  15. instead. This kind of notation is often used to denote the lower end of a
  16. distribution. Does anyone out there know of the macro I should be using to
  17. obtain this notation??
