- Ok...*sigh* So many people have complained about this that I feel
- obligated to say something... I have some programs I've written...er,
- hacked together...to get around just this problem. I have programs to:
- a) create a new book based on what you tell the program you want (this
- includes setting up paragraph and page number), b) re-order an existing
- book, preserving the cross-references, c) delete catalogs from a file,
- and d) change the paragraph catalog and re-map paragraph styles. All
- these work on MIF. The programs are a combination of C and C shell scripts.
-
- ASSUMING I can obtain permission from my employer to post them, and
- allowing me some time to get them into less-hacked-up shape, how many are
- interested? Would anyone be interested in doing a little work? Please
- respond via email to vening@chdasic.sps.mot.com.
